Ryan Whelton, DPT
Physical Therapist

Dr. Ryan Whelton, DPT, is a world renown physical therapist. He is passionate about helping his patients recover efficiently and empowering them with the tools to stay pain free long-term. His care philosophy emphasizes teaching patients how to manage their condition so they can avoid ongoing dependency on treatment.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Whelton worked with the medical staff of the Super Bowl XXXVIII Champion New England Patriots, where he contributed to athlete recovery and performance. He is the founder of Whelton Methods®, a set of innovative treatment approaches designed to support the relief of musculoskeletal pain through precise, systematized techniques.

In addition to treating patients, Dr. Whelton teaches healthcare professionals from around the world how to apply these methods in clinical practice. His techniques are currently used internationally, including by practitioners in professional sports organizations such as the NFL and MLB.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Whelton enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He also enjoys cycling, yoga, and meditation.

Office Administrator

Ainet is an office administrator, she handles the day to day office administration work and is passionate about helping others. When not working you will find her at theme parks. Her favorite park is Walt Disney World. 

Jill Stone
Office Administrator

Jill works as an office administrator.  She is a dedicated mom to her three young children She holds a master's degree in mental health counseling. Her passion is working with foster children. When not performing her mom and office duties she enjoys working out and volunteering at her kids school.

  • I have had low back buttock pain 4 months during my first consult Dr. Whelton was able to diagnose my issue and got me out of pain. Now I am.back to the gym doing weights and everything. He also helped my husband with his shoulder issue for 4 yrs. He helped get ankle range of motion back in 2 visits. He is now back to the gym as well!

  • I was living in pain for many years trying chiropractor adjustments and massage therapy to try to alleviate it without success. When the pandemic hit my sitting for work increased and so the pain increased too! I am a very active person but the pain was debilitating and it got to a point where I was not able to take a walk around the neighborhood. I saw the FB ad and knew I had to give this a try and thank goodness I did! My daughter just got married and I was able to dance all night and also walk over 5 miles the next day while celebrating the couple. My husband calls Dr Ryan a miracle worker and I will be eternally grateful for him giving me my life back!!

  • I’ve been experiencing lower back pain for more than 15 years. Ironically, I’ve exercised almost all my life yet exercising didn’t seemed to help manage or get rid of the pain. Last year, the pain got so bad that I did the usual tests (x-rays, MRI, CTs) but every thing came back negative. An add for Sport & Spine Physical Therapy popped while on Facebook with a patient describing the pain they had and it was like he was reading my mind. I decided to give it a try and I’m glad I did. Within the first visit I experienced some relief and after the whole treatment, I can finally say I feel awesome.

  • Dr. Whelton is extremely knowledgeable and has made a huge difference in my daughter's life. My daughter has had back pain for years from over a decade of riding and jumping horses. She started treatment with him a little over a month ago. Before she started treatment, she had back pain all the time and it was especially bad after riding and jumping. Today after riding, she had no pain and she's able to ride more effectively too. Her mood has also improved because she's no longer in pain. In addition to being knowledgeable, Dr. Whelton and his staff are very kind and caring people. We are so thankful that we found him and she is able to have relief from years of back pain.

  • After 40 years of living with pain and trying several different treatments and drugs for only temporary relief of my pain, I tried sport & spine and was surprised at the results! No more constant nagging pain! Dr. Shelton was able to fix my lower back pain as well as the shoulder, neck and hip pain. I feel like l have my life back!
